NEOS GeoSolutions and Petroserv commemorated the launching of the acquisition phase for the CedarsOil Lebanon neoBASIN Project during the onshore panel that was held at the Phoenicia Hotel, Beirut as part of the Lebanon Petroleum Day (LPD) organized by the Lebanese Petroleum Administration (LPA) on October 22nd 2014.

James Hollis, CEO of NEOS, took part in the conference’s Onshore panel, stressing that going forward Lebanon’s petroleum sector would be a massive source of “wealth for the country’s economy”.

“NEOS GeoSolutions’ exploration survey aims to obtain a database for 6,000 square kilometers of the Transition Zone (TZ) and the northern part of the onshore, which will facilitate the work of investing oil and gas companies,” Hollis explained. “We hope that our project, with the sophisticated technology used, will be the cornerstone of all the acquired geophysical datasets.”
