After the success of the CedarsOil Lebanon neoBASIN Project, a non-exclusive agreement has been signed between the government of Cyprus and US company NEOS GeoSolutions Inc. for the conduct of geophysical surveys onshore and near-shore Cyprus. These studies are expected to contribute towards the assessment of the hydrocarbons prospectivity onshore and near-shore Cyprus.

The agreement was signed on Friday September 25th by Minister of Energy Yiorgos Lakkotrypis and the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer of the company, Jim Hollis.

The Council of Ministers approved the agreement on September 16.
